Prithviraj's Mother Accuses Industry of Targeting His Career
Prithviraj Sukumaran is a famous actor and director.
His mother, Mallika Sukumaran, says that some people in the film industry are trying to hurt his career.
They are doing this through online attacks and by spreading false information about his new movie, Vilayath Buddha.
Mallika is upset because she thinks the film organisations are not helping Prithviraj when he needs them.
She wants them to support him and other actors in similar situations.
The cyberattacks have made it hard for his movie to do well at the box office.
An official complaint was also made against a YouTube channel for spreading false information about the movie.
Prithviraj Sukumaran's mother, Mallika, alleges that certain factions in the film industry are trying to destroy his career.
She claims that film organisations, including the Actors' Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), have remained silent during the cyberattacks on Prithviraj and his film Vilayath Buddha.
Mallika expressed discontent with the lack of support from the industry and demanded that organisations stand by their members during challenging times.
The cyberattacks and misrepresentation of Vilayath Buddha's content have allegedly affected the film's box-office performance.
An FIR was filed against a YouTube channel for allegedly misrepresenting the film's content and promoting communal tensions.
