Swiggy Denies Instamart Market Share Loss Claims
Swiggy, a company that delivers food and other items quickly, said that a recent news report about its Instamart service losing market share to competitors is not true.
Swiggy said the data in the report was wrong and did not match the data from Redseer, a company that studies markets.
Redseer also said they did not share any data with the news portal or HSBC, a bank that was mentioned in the report.
The news portal later removed the article from their website.
Swiggy told its shareholders to only trust official announcements from the company.
Swiggy refuted claims that its Instamart business is losing market share, calling the data in a recent news report baseless and unreliable.
The company stated that the data in the report did not match Redseer's internal research and that Redseer did not share any data with HSBC or the news portal.
Redseer Consulting confirmed that they did not share any data or analysis with HSBC or the news portal and that the market share data in the report did not match their internal research.
Swiggy advised its shareholders to exercise caution and rely solely on official announcements from the company.
The news portal officially removed the article from its website as of 28 November 2025.
