M&M Closes Gap With Tata in September Vehicle Sales

M&M Closes Gap With Tata in September Vehicle Sales

Car companies in India reported how many vehicles they sold in September.

Maruti Suzuki remained the biggest seller.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles sold slightly more vehicles than Mahindra & Mahindra.

This means Tata kept the second-place position it gained during the first five months of FY27.

The article reports two different September figures for Maruti Suzuki: 181,838 wholesales and 169,433 registrations.

Tata’s Punch SUV helped its sales grow.

Tata also sold twice as many electric vehicles as M&M.

Electric vehicles made up more than one-quarter of Tata’s sales, but the company said demand was greater than its available supply.
