Gujarat Approves Rs 99.5 Lakh Road After SWAGAT Grievance

Gujarat Approves Rs 99.5 Lakh Road After SWAGAT Grievance

A villager asked Gujarat’s government to improve a road near his village.

He raised the problem during a monthly public grievance meeting called State-SWAGAT.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel asked officials to look into the road.

The government approved Rs 99.50 lakh for the project.

The money will help turn the existing metal road into a paved asphalt road.

Officials were told to complete the work within three months.

State-SWAGAT lets people bring problems directly to government departments and district officials.

The government said the approval followed directions given during the August meeting.
