Telangana Special Lok Adalats Settle Over 42,000 Cases

They held Special Lok Adalats in all their courts.
The goal was to settle cases that were just waiting around.
They focused on cases like minor crimes that people can agree to settle, bounced checks, and other disagreements.
By the end of the day, they managed to fix over 42,000 cases out of the ones they looked at.
This helps people solve their problems faster and makes the courts less busy.
Telangana State Legal Services Authority organized Special Lok Adalats across all courts in the state.
Over 42,000 cases were settled in a single day.
The Lok Adalats focused on resolving pending criminal compoundable cases, cheque bounce cases, and other civil and criminal matters.
The initiative was conducted under the directives of Telangana High Court Chief Justice Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and coordinated by Justice P. Sam Koshy and Justice K. Lakshman.
A total of 42,063 cases were resolved out of 48,705 referred cases.
