NCP Prepares for BMC Elections
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in India is getting ready to run in the big city elections in Mumbai all by themselves.
They are going to pick about 100 people to run for different seats.
One of their leaders, Nawab Malik, is going to have three of his family members running too.
The NCP is still talking to another big party, the BJP, about maybe working together, but it's not looking very likely right now.
The main reason is that the BJP doesn't want Nawab Malik to be in charge because he has been accused of some bad things.
So, the NCP is preparing to go it alone in these important city elections.
The BJP and Shiv Sena are also in final talks to contest the elections together as Mahayuti.
