Travis Head backs Jake Weatherald as Australia opener against Bangladesh
Cricket is a sport played with a bat and ball, and Test matches are the longest kind of cricket game.
In Test cricket, two players from the batting team go out first, and those players are called openers.
Travis Head is a famous Australian cricketer who has been chosen to be an opener.
He has scored three hundreds since becoming an opener, and he has won a big award called the Allan Border Medal two times in a row.
Travis says he does not think of himself as a 'true' opener, but he still wants to do a great job.
His likely opening partner is his friend Jake Weatherald, who batted very well for a team in England called Leicestershire.
In England, Jake scored 483 runs across nine innings.
Travis thinks they can form a really good partnership and help Australia win many matches over the next 18 months.
Australia's busy schedule begins with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting on Thursday.
Travis Head has scored three Test centuries as an opener, all in the Ashes, since being promoted to the top of the order after David Warner.
Head backs Jake Weatherald as his likely opening partner and says Weatherald looked 'unbelievable' in practice games against Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood.
The two-Test series against Bangladesh starts on Thursday, beginning a 12-month stretch in which Australia will play 20-odd Tests.
Weatherald scored 483 runs at an average of 60.37 in nine innings for Leicestershire in English county cricket.
Head, a back-to-back Allan Border Medal winner, says he does not consider himself a 'true' opener but has high expectations for the partnership.
