Four Caught in Two Gujarat Anti-Corruption Bureau Bribery Traps

Gujarat’s Anti-Corruption Bureau set up two traps on Saturday.

In Mahudha, an advocate was caught allegedly taking Rs 2.5 lakh.

The money was reportedly sought to settle a dispute and prevent a police case from being registered.

A police Assistant Sub-Inspector was also accused, but he was not at the trap location.

In Bhuj, two contractual government inspectors were caught allegedly taking Rs 4,000.

The money was reportedly for processing housing assistance payments.

The ACB said the two inspectors helped each other.

These are allegations reported by the agency.
