AICTE Launches Engineering Initiatives on Engineers’ Day
On Engineers’ Day, the AICTE announced new programs to help engineering students and teachers.
One program, called Project PRACTICE, will give extra support to colleges.
The AICTE also launched a research portal and climate and R&D cells to encourage hands-on learning.
The goal is to make engineers ready for new technologies like AI, and to help build a self-reliant India.
The AICTE is working with industries and universities to prepare engineers for the future, focusing on new ideas, sustainability, and building things locally.
AICTE marked Engineers’ Day with three new initiatives.
Project PRACTICE aims to improve education in tier-2 and tier-3 engineering colleges.
The initiatives include a Research Internship Portal and R&D/Climate Cells.
The programs focus on enhancing employability, innovation, and industry connections.
