Delhi to Launch 100 Electric Buses for Inter-State Routes
Delhi is getting ready to launch 100 new electric buses!
These buses will travel on routes that connect Delhi to nearby cities such as Haridwar, Ayodhya, and Jaipur.
This plan is part of a bigger idea called "Green Delhi, Clean Delhi."
The buses will be run by the current drivers, so things should stay organized.
This will allow easier travel to neighboring cities and reduce air pollution in Delhi.
In the past, Delhi had bus routes to many more cities, but the new plan will bring back long-distance buses.
Delhi plans to launch 100 electric inter-state buses.
The buses will connect Delhi to 17 routes, including religious and pilgrimage destinations.
Routes will include cities within 250-300 km of Delhi.
The initiative aligns with the 'Viksit Sankalp Patra' vision for a cleaner Delhi.
The buses will be operated by existing DTC drivers.
