Salman Khan Director Almost Played Cricket with Tendulkar

Imagine a movie director who almost became a famous cricket player!

Apoorva Lakhia, who's directing a movie starring Salman Khan, was actually good enough to play cricket professionally.

He was even picked to play in a big match with the famous Sachin Tendulkar.

However, his dad wanted him to join the family business instead, so he didn't get to play cricket.

Lakhia then went on to be a filmmaker, working in Hollywood before starting his career in India.

His first big project, "Lagaan," was even nominated for an Oscar!
