Mohan Bhagwat Promotes Hindu Unity and Global Service in Toronto
Mohan Bhagwat spoke at a Hindu gathering in Toronto.
He said being Hindu does not require one language, one way of worshipping or one lifestyle.
He described differences among people as natural.
He also said that people are connected by a deeper unity.
Bhagwat encouraged the idea that the whole world is one family.
He said this belief creates a duty to help others.
He argued that India became respected by sharing knowledge and helping people, not by conquering countries.
He mentioned India’s history of giving refuge to persecuted groups.
More than 2,500 people reportedly attended the event.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said Hindu identity is not defined by one language, form of worship or lifestyle.
He described diversity in caste, creed and language as natural, with unity as the underlying reality.
Bhagwat urged people to embrace Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the belief that the entire world is one family.
