India Enhances Delhi Dome with Counter-Drone Shield
The Indian government is adding special protection to important military buildings in Delhi.
They are using a new system called Vajra Sentinel to detect and stop drones that might be used for bad things.
This system can find up to 15 drones at once and is made by a company in Chennai.
The Indian Air Force is in charge of this protection, which is part of a bigger plan called Delhi Dome.
This plan also includes other weapons to protect against missiles and other threats.
The government is also working on a bigger project called Mission Sudarshan Chakra to make the whole country safer.
The Ministry of Defence is adding a counter-drone security layer to the Delhi Dome air defence grid.
The Vajra Sentinel anti-drone system, made by Big Bang Boom Solutions, can detect up to 15 drones simultaneously.
The Indian Air Force has installed the system at Vayu Sena Bhavan and plans to deploy it at Nausena Bhavan.
The Delhi Dome includes multiple layers of defence, from ballistic missiles to surface-to-air missiles and advanced radars.
The system is part of a nationwide effort to protect against unmanned aerial threats and sabotage.
