CISF Officer Geeta Samota First From Force to Scale Everest
Geeta Samota, who works in the police, climbed Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world.
This makes her the first person from her job to do this.
Before climbing Everest, she trained and climbed other mountains too.
Her goal started in 2019 and she has been climbing different mountains since then.
She climbed four peaks in a short amount of time.
This shows that with hard work, you can achieve great things.
CISF Sub-Inspector Geeta Samota has become the first from the force to scale Mt. Everest.
Her achievement completes her 'seven summits' dream that started in 2019.
She trained at ITBP's mountaineering institute in Auli.
Samota climbed four peaks in six months and 27 days between 2021 and early 2022.
These peaks included mountains in Australia, Russia, Tanzania, and Argentina.
