Bilibili launches second season of AI creation contest
Bilibili has launched the second season of its AI creation contest in China, inviting people to build products using AI tools.
The contest has no requirements for education, profession or development experience, and participants share their work as they make it.
Users help shape the products by responding to creators’ posts and voting on finalists.
In the main contest, AI models will select 30 finalists based on video performance, and a user jury will decide the final rankings.
The prize pool is 2.2 million yuan, with the winner receiving 1 million yuan, alongside traffic and industry support.
The first season received more than 30,000 submissions in two months, and over 60% came from people without professional development backgrounds.
Several first-season AI products have secured funding, including an AI phone that recreates a person’s voice and an interactive virtual world.
The new season also includes challenges backed by Nvidia and Google, which will offer technical and commercial support.
Bilibili announced the second season of its AI Creation Contest on Oct. 24.
The contest is open to entrants regardless of education, profession or development experience, and asks them to use AI tools to create working, interactive products.
