Samsung Galaxy A38 may get a 6,000mAh battery

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A38 may get a 6,000mAh battery, according to a leak.

That would be a 20% increase over the 5,000mAh battery in the Galaxy A37, its predecessor.

The reported rated capacity is 5,882mAh, which Samsung may advertise as a typical capacity of 6,000mAh.

If confirmed, it would be the largest battery in a Galaxy A phone sold in Europe, and larger than the 5,000mAh battery in Samsung’s S Ultra phones.

The A38 is not expected to use silicon-carbon battery technology, which some phone makers use to fit more capacity into less space.

Its camera setup is rumored to remain the same as the A36 and A37, making the battery a key reported change.

The A38 and A58 are expected to launch together in March or April, but the A58’s battery upgrade has not been confirmed; the A38’s price is also expected to rise toward €500.
