Jalisco jewelry fair expects sales to rise 12% from April

Expo Joya in Guadalajara expects sales to rise 12% compared with its April edition.

The fair brings together jewelry businesses and buyers in Jalisco, which the state’s jewelry industry chamber says leads the country’s sector.

The event expects 15,000 buyers, mainly wholesalers and other bulk buyers from across Mexico.

More than 350 brands are showing gold, diamonds, silver, costume jewelry, tools and other supplies.

The fair accounts for about 30% of the sector’s annual sales, making it a major business event for manufacturers and sellers.

It also offers training and industry information, while Jalisco’s jewelry industry provides about 20,000 jobs, 70% held by women.

The fair is scheduled to end on October 15.

We have always grown, and we are pleased that with each edition we need to expand our floor plan because companies sign up to be present and our exhibition keeps growing.
