Congress asks Karnataka government to probe alleged sting attempts on two CMs

Congress leaders have asked Karnataka’s government to investigate alleged sting attempts targeting Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan.

Shivakumar said a businessman who met him and Satheesan wore Meta smart glasses and behaved suspiciously.

The visitor discussed politics instead of business, Shivakumar said, leading him to suspect an attempt to record or spy on him.

He also said he had warned Karnataka ministers to be cautious about possible sting operations.

The claims have raised concerns about covert recording of senior officials, though the accounts do not establish that a sting operation took place.

Karnataka’s government has been asked to investigate the alleged attempts.
