Manvanth’s unbeaten 86 lifts Karnataka to 281 for eight against Saurashtra
Karnataka made 281 for eight on day one against Saurashtra in a Ranji Trophy match at the Alur Grounds near Bengaluru.
The team was in trouble late in its innings when No.

The 22-year-old was unbeaten on 86 from 124 balls, with six fours and five sixes.
He and Abhilash Shetty put on an unbroken 87-run partnership for the ninth wicket; Shetty was not out on six.
Manvanth’s fifty was his first in first-class cricket, and he has played only twice for Karnataka.
Earlier, Mayank Agarwal scored 42, K.V. Aneesh made 59 and Karun Nair scored 46, but Saurashtra took eight wickets.
Karnataka’s innings remains unfinished, with Manvanth and Shetty still batting.
