Donguri Sora Releases Antique-Style Kiki’s Delivery Service Lamp

Japanese online shop Donguri Sora listed a new Kiki’s Delivery Service lamp on Oct.

31.

The battery-powered lamp is designed to look like an antique oil lamp and features Jiji, Kiki’s talking black cat.

Its design is based on a lamp owned by Osono, the baker who gives Kiki a place to stay in the film.

The item stands about five inches tall and costs about 13,200 yen including tax.

Kiki’s Delivery Service follows a young witch who moves away from home for a year and starts a delivery business using her ability to fly.

The shop does not ship outside Japan, though proxy services and some international retailers offer ways to buy licensed Ghibli products.

The film is available on Max or Netflix, depending on the viewer’s location.
