Apple launches redesigned World Travel Adapter Kit

Apple has launched a redesigned World Travel Adapter Kit for people who need to use different AC plugs while travelling.

The kit includes five interchangeable plugs for regions including Europe, India and the UK, as well as North America, Japan, Brazil, the UAE, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

Apple first introduced the kit in the early 2000s, then discontinued the original version in 2025.

The new design works with the latest 70W and 140W Apple power adapters.

It uses Apple’s updated AC Connector 2, whose plug component has changed from a notched shape to a pill shape following what Apple described as updated regulations.

The kit is priced at $39, £39 or €45 and is available through Apple Stores and some third-party retailers.
