Ravens face quarterback shortage after injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley

Baltimore's top two quarterbacks were hurt during Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Lamar Jackson injured his thumb on the Ravens' first offensive play, and the injury may require surgery that could end his season.

Backup Tyler Huntley hurt his toe, and he is expected to miss an extended period, though the injury's severity has not been determined.

That leaves undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano as the only available quarterback on the active roster, with Baltimore set to play Jacksonville on Thursday.

The Ravens are 4-4 and have lost three straight, but the team still has key players and a chance to stay in contention if Jackson can return sooner than expected.

Baltimore may explore a trade for Tyson Bagent of the Chicago Bears, where Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle previously coached him; acquiring Bagent is expected to be costly.

With nine days left in the trading period, the Ravens need to find more quarterback help, but no deal has been confirmed.
