Five Kabaddi Champions League franchises retained 10 players ahead of the competition’s second season.

The league involves five teams: Bhiwani Bulls, Hisar Heroes, Karnal Kings, Panipat Panthers and Gurugram Gurus.

Devank Dalal will continue with Bhiwani Bulls, while Ashu Malik was retained by Hisar Heroes.

The other retained players include Akshit Dhull, Harsh Vedpal, Sourav Sanjay, Narender Kandola, Vishal Narwal, Rahul Setpal, Mandeep Kumar and Sahil Jagveer.

Devank was the most expensive player in the previous season, when Bhiwani secured him for Rs 19.2 lakh.

The retentions give teams a core to build around, supporting continuity and team combinations.

The franchises will auction the remaining squad places on October 17.
