Umamusume: Pretty Derby’s Los Angeles Concerts at Risk Over Visas

Cygames says visas for performers remain unapproved for Umamusume: Pretty Derby concerts planned for Oct.

22 and 23 in Los Angeles.

The shows are scheduled for the Peacock Theater and would be the franchise’s first U.S. concerts.

The performers are voice actors from the game, which features horse-racing characters who also perform as music idols.

Cygames has been working with lawyers and U.S. promoters on the visas for more than six months.

The unresolved visas could prevent the concerts from happening, although the company says it is exploring options to secure approval in time.

The concerts are part of a world tour and were intended to showcase the franchise’s international popularity.

Cygames is still trying to get the visas approved, while fans wait to learn whether the shows will go ahead.
