Collins and Ossoff clash over Epstein records in Georgia debate

Republican Rep.

Mike Collins and Democratic Sen.

Jon Ossoff clashed during a debate in Georgia.

Collins criticized Ossoff for taking campaign donations from LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, who has acknowledged meeting Jeffrey Epstein.

Ossoff accused Collins of voting against releasing Epstein-related records and helping to cover up evidence.

The exchange focused on the candidates’ records and ties to people connected to Epstein.

The dispute made the release of Epstein records a point of contention in the Georgia contest.

The broader stakes include control of Congress, which is hanging in the balance.

The debate did not resolve the allegations or say whether the records would be released.
