İskenderunspor was expelled from the Turkish Cup after failing to appear for its third-round match.

The club, based in Hatay, was due to play Karabük İdmanyurdu.

The Turkish Football Federation’s disciplinary board awarded a 3-0 forfeit under the cup’s rules.

The decision also means İskenderunspor cannot enter next season’s cup.

The ruling follows the club’s failure to take the field at the scheduled time.

The club will therefore miss the next edition of the competition.
