Hakkı Bulut taken to hospital after falling ill during Istanbul performance

Turkish arabesk singer Hakkı Bulut became unwell during a performance at a restaurant in Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district on Friday.

Emergency workers gave him first aid at the scene and took him to hospital.

His manager, İrfan Gün, said Bulut was in good condition and had no serious problem.

Reports differ on whether his blood pressure was too high or too low, but both say he was taken to hospital.

Bulut had a similar health problem before a concert in Tokat in 2024 and was discharged after treatment.

The latest update said he was expected to leave hospital later that evening.
