What people are saying
Strengthening women farmers can help strengthen the food security of 45 million people.
Every investment in women farmers means an investment in the fertility of the land, the continuity of production and the future of our country.
We believe the food systems of the future will be shaped by the opportunities we offer our producers today, the growing strength of our women farmers and the investments we make in domestic agriculture.
The work of Reis Pulses Villages, which we began with women producers in 2019, was an important reflection of this approach.
