DHL raises 2026 earnings forecast after strong third quarter
DHL raised its 2026 operating profit forecast to more than €7 billion, up from its earlier target of more than €6.5 billion.
The Bonn-based logistics group said third-quarter operating profit rose about 16% to €1.7 billion.
DHL Express drove much of the increase, with its operating profit rising to about €1 billion from €692 million a year earlier.
Cost measures and limited capacity in the air freight market also supported the Express result.
Profit fell at Post & Parcel Germany, from €218 million to €150 million in the quarter, though DHL kept its full-year forecast for that division unchanged.
DHL plans to review its medium-term forecast in March, and it will publish its full quarterly results on November 5.
