Michael Page says Misfits deal will pay more than his UFC contract

Michael Page says Misfits deal will pay more than his UFC contract

Michael “Venom” Page has signed a three-fight deal with Misfits Boxing after leaving the UFC.

He fought six times for the UFC after joining in 2024, and the promotion released him earlier this year.

Page says the Misfits deal will pay him more than his entire UFC contract, though those figures are his account of the agreement.

He also said the deal is worth more than twice what he earned in the UFC over a shorter period.

Page criticized the UFC’s handling of fighter pay, calling complaints from its champions embarrassing for the promotion.

His comments come as UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland has raised concerns about his pay.

No opponent has been confirmed for Page’s Misfits debut; Darren Till and Tommy Fury were mentioned as possible matchups.

I’m making 2x more, just over, and in a shorter period, it’s a three fight deal, in the three fight deal I’ll make more than I did in my entire UFC contract.

For me, it’d be embarrassing that my champions were complaining, I would personally want to rectify that.
