Rasonque brings Revolution Medicines $198 million in five weeks
Revolution Medicines’ cancer drug Rasonque generated $198 million in sales during its first five weeks on the U.S. market.
The company reported the sales on Nov.
4, 2026, for the period through Sept.
30.
The total far exceeded analysts’ expectations of $50 million to $100 million, though it included patients moving from an early access program that has ended.
More than 5,000 U.S. patients received the drug during that period, and health plans covering more than 90% of patients were reimbursing claims, the company said.
Rasonque was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Aug.
26 for pancreatic cancer, and research found it could nearly double survival times for patients with metastatic disease.
The early sales do not yet show the drug’s normal launch pattern, company executives cautioned, partly because some early access patients were sicker and may stop treatment sooner.
Revolution is studying Rasonque for other uses, while analysts expect sales to grow but differ on how much.
Revolution Medicines reported $198 million in Rasonque sales during the third quarter after just five weeks on the market.
More than 5,000 U.S. patients received the pancreatic cancer treatment through Sept. 30.
Analysts said the launch exceeded expectations, with some raising their sales forecasts.
Company executives cautioned that five weeks of sales were too little to establish the drug’s normal launch trajectory.
