Korea Expo LA to connect 102 companies with US buyers and consumers

The first Korea Expo in Los Angeles runs from Oct.

22 to 24, bringing Korean products to US buyers and shoppers.

The event is organized by Exporum and the Korea International Trade Association and takes place at Magic Box in downtown LA.

A total of 102 companies will present beauty, food and lifestyle products, including Korean small businesses and Korean-founded firms already operating in LA.

The expo builds on events first held in Paris in 2023 and later expanded to Osaka and Tokyo.

Retail buyers will hold one-to-one export and purchasing talks with participating companies, while consumer feedback may help them adapt products for the US market.

The program includes themed days for beauty, food and culture, with activities aimed at local audiences including Hispanic consumers.

The event is intended to turn interest in Korean culture into sales and exports for businesses seeking to enter the US market.

Korea Expos are also planned for Tokyo, Paris and LA next year, and organizers are considering expansion into South America.
