Russian Strikes Set Kharkiv Supermarket Ablaze; Ukrainian Drone Attack Kills Two

Russian airstrikes hit a home-improvement supermarket in Kharkiv, Ukraine, on Saturday night.

After the first strike, rescue workers were still at the scene when an air-raid warning sounded and two more strikes hit, starting a large fire inside the store.

The supermarket’s workers and customers were evacuated in time, and Kharkiv’s mayor said no one was injured there.

A Ukrainian drone attack on Belgorod, Russia, killed two people and injured 13, according to local authorities.

The regional governor said the attack damaged apartment blocks, cars, homes, administrative buildings, businesses and social facilities.

The strikes hit communities on both sides of the Russia-Ukraine war, with the Belgorod attack causing reported deaths and injuries.
