Kadin Says Business Confidence Strengthened Under Prabowo
Indonesia’s business chief says confidence has strengthened during President Prabowo Subianto’s first two years in office.
Anindya Bakrie, head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, cited nearly Rp 2,000 trillion in domestic investment over that period.
He said investment by Indonesian businesses, including medium-sized firms, helps the economy withstand global uncertainty.
Kadin says businesses also see opportunities in electric vehicles, renewable energy and data centers, where local components could play a large role.
