Amanita Design announces Machinarium 2, with Josef and Berta returning
Amanita Design has announced Machinarium 2, a sequel to its 2009 puzzle adventure.
The game follows robots Josef and Berta after they escape the city of Machinarium and crash-land in a hidden valley.
The valley is home to two robot groups, one in the Elektrona monastery and one in the city of Oilton, and both are running out of power.
Players will be able to switch between Josef and Berta, using their different abilities to solve puzzles together.
Like the original, the game will have no written dialogue, and players can use either a gamepad or point-and-click controls.
Original composer Tomáš Dvořák is returning to make the soundtrack.
