Mike Flanagan’s 9 Most Evil TV Characters, Ranked
Mike Flanagan is a writer and creator known for horror films and television shows.
A ranking looks at nine characters it considers especially evil across his TV projects.
The examples described include Dr. Georgina Stanton from The Midnight Club and the Lady in the Lake from The Haunting of Bly Manor.
Stanton appears to be a supportive doctor at Brightcliffe Home, where eight terminally ill young people live.
In the show’s finale, she is revealed to be Athena, the daughter of the founder of a death cult that once occupied the home.
The ranking says Stanton is morally gray, while suggesting her connection to the cult’s history makes her complicit in evil.
