HKEX Launches New Services on Hong Kong Fund Platform

The Hong Kong exchange launched platform and nominee services on its Integrated Fund Platform on October 28.

The services connect fund distributors, fund managers and transfer agents through standardised digital processes.

They support fund holdings, payment and settlement, reconciliation and reporting.

The platform already includes a fund information repository launched in December 2024 and an order-routing service introduced in July 2025.

More than 60 firms now participate, up from an initial group of 33, according to HKEX.

By reducing duplicated work and operational costs, the platform aims to make it easier for firms to distribute funds and improve efficiency across Hong Kong's fund market.

HKEX says the new services complete another stage of the platform's development, which is intended to support Hong Kong's role as a wealth management hub.
