Artists honor Amy Winehouse at 20th anniversary ‘Back to Black’ concert

Artists gathered at London’s Roundhouse to honor Amy Winehouse with a concert marking 20 years since her album *Back to Black*.

The show brought together the Amy Winehouse Band, producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, and guest singers including Corinne Bailey Rae, Jorja Smith and Jessie Reyez.

They performed the album’s songs in full, with different singers taking the lead on tracks such as “Rehab” and “Love Is a Losing Game.”

Released in 2006, *Back to Black* became a landmark album, reaching No.

2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and winning five Grammy Awards.

The Roundhouse has a personal link to Winehouse: it was the venue of her final public appearance in 2011, shortly before she died aged 27.

The concert celebrated her songwriting through new performances rather than recreating her voice or style.

The full show is due to air on the BBC later this month, and BBC Radio 2 is scheduled to broadcast audio from it on October 26.
