Leader of Los Molina sentenced to 245 years for killing seven in Coyoacán

Luis Enrique “N”, identified by authorities as the leader of the Los Molina criminal group, was sentenced in Mexico City for the killing of seven people.

The victims were attending a gathering in Los Reyes Culhuacán, in the Coyoacán borough, when gunmen opened fire in February 2019.

A court found him responsible as a co-perpetrator of the murders.

Prosecutors presented ballistic, forensic and other evidence, including a link between two rifles found in the vehicle in which he was arrested and shell casings from the attack.

He was arrested in Tecámac in February 2025, and the court issued its guilty verdict in September 2026.

On October 5, the tribunal set his sentence at 245 years, but local law limits the time he can serve to 70 years.

It also ordered payments of more than 3.1 million pesos to the victims’ families for compensation, funeral costs and moral damages.
