GoldArc wins approval for Mt Stirling haul road and expanded camp
GoldArc Resources secured approval for a western haul road and expanded camp at its Mt Stirling gold project in Western Australia.
The approval covers the Mt Stirling and Mt Stirling Well deposits, part of the company’s Leonora North Gold Project.
The new road will provide a second route for moving ore, while the larger camp is intended to house workers.
Earlier approval covered the open pits, and the latest decision adds these key transport and accommodation facilities to the authorised development footprint.
The approved activities now cover 126.8 hectares across eight tenements, including pits, stockpiles, water infrastructure and the camp.
This reduces the risk that the road or worker accommodation will delay the project as it moves towards mining.
GoldArc can now advance planning for site establishment, including construction of the road and camp; the company is also working with BML Ventures on mine scheduling and processing negotiations.

What people are saying
August’s approval covered the pits. This one covers how the ore leaves site and where our people will live, we wanted both locked in before mobilising.
