Ian McKellen to make Halloween cameo on Strictly Come Dancing

Sir Ian McKellen will appear in Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween special this weekend.

The actor’s voice will be heard in a group performance by the show’s professional dancers.

The dance tells a vampire story set to Tame Impala’s “Dracula”, ending with McKellen reading from Bram Stoker’s novel.

The routine features dancers Alexis Warr and Nikita Kuzmin on a first date before Kuzmin is revealed to be a vampire.

Sunday’s results show will have the first dance-off with three couples, and judges will choose one pair to leave the competition.

The live show airs Saturday on BBC One, with the results show airing Sunday on BBC One and iPlayer.
