Galaxy Z Fold9 cameras may bring few changes
Tipster Lanzuk says Samsung’s 2027 Galaxy Z Fold9 models may reuse their predecessors’ rear cameras.
The standard Z Fold9 is reportedly set to keep two 50-megapixel cameras, one main and one ultra-wide.
The Z Fold9 Ultra is said to have a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide and 3x optical zoom.
An under-display camera might return, but the tipster’s claims do not confirm that.
If the camera details are accurate, the new models could offer few rear-camera changes for people upgrading from the previous generation.
That may make the camera less of a reason to buy a new foldable phone each year.
Samsung has not confirmed these early camera claims, so the specifications may change before the phones are released.
Tipster Lanzuk says Samsung’s 2027 Galaxy Z Fold9 models may retain the rear cameras used in their predecessors.
The reported Z Fold9 Ultra setup includes a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and 3x optical zoom.
The standard Z Fold9 is reported to have 50MP main and ultra-wide rear cameras.
The reports are preliminary and have not been confirmed by Samsung.
