Maerki Baumann to hold a workshop on business uses of stablecoins
Maerki Baumann will hold a stablecoin workshop in Zurich on 19 November 2026.
It is aimed at business owners and senior managers, especially those responsible for finance, treasury and payments.
Stablecoins are digital assets linked to reference values such as the US dollar, and some businesses are considering them for payments and cash management.
The workshop will cover how companies can buy, store and use stablecoins, including how to connect them to existing payment processes.
It will also address legal, tax, accounting and regulatory requirements that businesses need to consider.
The focus is on practical business use, not speculative investment, and no advanced cryptocurrency knowledge is required.
The session is part of the Digital Economy Award’s first daytime programme, which includes nine topic sessions before the evening awards ceremony.
Participation in the daytime programme is free and does not require a ticket to the award night.
