Police seek witnesses after 11-year-old is attacked in Nordhorn
An 11-year-old girl was attacked in central Nordhorn, a town in Germany’s Lower Saxony state.
Police say the suspected attacker was a 12-year-old girl known to the victim.
The attack reportedly happened on 2 October near a Tedi store on Hinterstraße.
The victim did not go to hospital but wanted a medical examination, and police have not said how serious her injuries were.
Two women reportedly stepped in and spoke to the suspected attacker, who then left the scene.
Police are seeking those women because their observations could help the investigation, and are also asking other witnesses to come forward.
