Yangshuo opens Guangxi’s first county-level international communication center
Yangshuo has opened Guangxi’s first county-level international communication center in the city of Guilin.
The center was set up jointly by the Guangxi International Communication Center and Yangshuo’s publicity department.
Yangshuo attracts many foreign visitors and residents, and the new center aims to help them take part in telling the area’s stories.
Its approach is to make international communication a shared effort, rather than having local institutions speak to the world alone.
Guangxi, Guilin and Yangshuo will work together on content, overseas distribution, multilingual production and training.
The partners will also create the YoungShuo international communication studio and develop content about nature, local life, outdoor sports, rural tourism and international exchange.
Yangshuo International Communication Center was inaugurated in Yangshuo County, Guilin, on November 6.
It is Guangxi’s first county-level international communication center.
The center was jointly established by Guangxi International Communication Center and the Yangshuo County Party Committee Publicity Department.
Its work will focus on sharing local stories internationally and involving foreign visitors and residents in telling them.
The center plans to develop multilingual content about ecology, local life, outdoor sports, rural tourism and international exchange.
