Apple showcase in Paris explores how furniture can encourage presence

Apple's Designers of Tomorrow showcase features four emerging design practices at Design Miami Paris.

The exhibition is held at Hotel de Maisons in Paris from October 21 to 25, 2026.

Its theme, Design for Presence, looks at how physical objects can encourage attention, reflection and interaction.

The designers used Apple tools, including iPad, Apple Pencil and MacBook Pro, to develop their work.

Their pieces include a lantern made with limestone and date palm fronds, a chair with more than 1,500 ceramic beads, and a table with an integrated lamp.

A folding table with two stools is designed to support shared activities and conversation.

The showcase explores how everyday objects can bring people together through attention and participation.
