Eight people were detained in an investigation involving the Sarıgül family over allegations of money laundering.

The investigation also involves Şişli Municipality youth camps, where one detainee was said to be responsible for the camps.

Those detained reportedly include two of Sarıgül’s close protection officers, a barber in Ankara, two sisters, and a cleaning worker.

The two sisters were alleged to have been abused, while the cleaning worker was said to be linked to recording footage.

Arrest warrants were issued for 10 people in total.

Two suspects remain at large, and efforts to find them are continuing.

The allegations are under investigation; the account does not state whether anyone has been charged or convicted.
