David Serrato hospitalized in Soria as doctors await biopsy results
Irene Villa says her husband, David Serrato, is hospitalized in Soria after months of pain and other health problems.
A CT scan found blood clots, including in his lungs, and enlarged lymph nodes.
Serrato has been in Hospital Santa Bárbara for 15 days, and the couple cancelled a planned Camino de Santiago trip.
He previously had advanced non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which he overcame in 2007.
Doctors have taken a biopsy, and Villa says they are waiting for results to find out what is causing the current problems and whether the lymphoma has returned.
Villa says she hopes it will prove to be a scare, and has thanked hospital staff, family and friends for their support.
