Parnas names first general manager for new Yangyang hotel

Parnas Hotels & Resorts has appointed Kim Ho-kyung to lead its new hotel in Yangyang, Gangwon Province, South Korea.

Inscape Yangyang by Parnas is scheduled to open in December beside Naksan Beach.

Kim has about 30 years of hotel experience and has led the opening of 10 hotels in South Korea and abroad.

The new hotel will have 393 rooms, including 358 suites, and more than 90% of its rooms are designed to face the East Sea.

It will also include an infinity pool, a rooftop bar, indoor swimming and fitness facilities, and several dining venues.

Parnas plans to make the hotel a destination in its own right, targeting visitors seeking a premium coastal stay.

The company says Kim will oversee preparations and build stable operations from the opening, with the aim of establishing the hotel as a leading premium landmark on the East Coast.

From the early days of opening, I will establish a stable operating foundation and present a new resort experience where the time spent at the hotel itself becomes the purpose of travel, growing it into a premium landmark hotel representing the east coast.
