Jean Airoldi says hackers used his account for $6,000-a-day ads

Quebec stylist and real estate broker Jean Airoldi says hackers repeatedly target his Facebook account.

He says someone got into the account and used his credit card to run ads costing up to $6,000 a day.

Airoldi says he was reimbursed for the charges, but the problem has not gone away.

He says the unauthorized ads were run in Indonesia or Vietnam, and his account can become frozen after an intrusion.

That can interrupt his real estate posts and leave followers unsure why his page has gone quiet.

Airoldi is asking followers to stay alert and tell him if they notice anything suspicious.
